LRC Taiwanese · Scoring rule
No Terminals
No Terminals (all simples) scores 5 points when every tile in the hand is a 2 through 8 — no 1s, no 9s, and no wind or dragon tiles. Because terminals and honours are excluded, the hand is built entirely from the middle of each suit, which makes it harder to assemble than it first looks.
A worked example
No 1s, 9s, or honour tiles anywhere in the hand. All tiles are 2-8.
Every tile is between 2 and 8, no 1s/9s/winds/dragons.
