A turn & the wall
A sheung is a run of three consecutive tiles in one suit, claimable only from the player on your left. This class builds your first run and your first real decision between two valid options.
Basics The deal, the turn, the wall count, a claim that jumps the turn, and where the deal goes next. 6 min
Welcome back. Sit, I'll deal.
Last time, four alike made a Gong.
Today, a turn and the wall. Tidy first.
West and North hold sixteen too.
The rest is the wall. Seventy-nine tiles.
East opens. You sit next, so you draw.
Sixteen again. West, on your right, is next.
East, South, West, North. Round it goes.
Each draw takes one. Seventy-four left.
Wall empty, no winner? A drawn hand.
Four sets, a pair, and one gap.
Twenty-three tai. A whole hand, played.
East wins? East deals again.
A drawn hand? The deal moves on.
Draw, discard, pass it on. Mind the wall.
You play a full turn now. Next, claiming.
